Blue Sky Farms is committed to giving back to the local community. Over the years, the farm has donated millions of pounds of produce to local food banks such as Farm Share and St. Francis House. The farm works to ensure that no product goes to waste.
Blue Sky Farm also gives back to the community via educational opportunities. The farm has hosted numerous farm tours over the years and has partnered with the University of Florida for various events. The farm maintains a strong relationship with the University of Florida as we continue to aid in research efforts to develop new crop varieties and sustainable farming practices.
St. Johns County Master Gardner's Program
The Florida Master Gardener Volunteer Program is a volunteer-driven program that benefits UF/IFAS Extension and the citizens of Florida. The program relies on dedicated volunteers who have an interest in gardening and in giving back to their communities.
Blue Sky Farms is proud to give back to the community through support of this program. The farm often donates potato seed to be used in the community garden.
